About the Founder
Mustakim Rahim
Hi, My name is Mustakim Rahim, and I am a university student with a deep passion for technology, artificial intelligence, and developing digital solutions that create meaningful social impact. I strongly believe that technology should not only solve problems but also expand access to education, knowledge, and opportunities for people regardless of their background or financial circumstances.
My work is driven by a simple vision: to use technology as a bridge between people and opportunity.
One of my major projects is Scholarships Hub, a free website that helps students discover scholarship opportunities from around the world. The platform was created to simplify the scholarship search process by bringing reliable opportunities together in one place, making higher education more accessible to students who aspire to study abroad.
My latest project is an AI-powered Language Assistant website, currently designed to help learners study the Greek language in a practical and intuitive way. Every lesson begins with English, followed by the translated sentence in Greek and its English pronunciation, enabling learners to understand, read, and speak naturally. My long-term vision is to expand this platform into a comprehensive multilingual learning ecosystem by introducing languages such as Bengali, Spanish, French, Korean, and Portuguese, making language learning more accessible to a global audience, including members of the Bangladeshi diaspora who wish to learn or reconnect with their native language.
Building with AI
The development of these platforms reflects my interest in combining artificial intelligence with practical problem-solving. Scholarships Hub was developed with the assistance of ChatGPT and DeepSeek. I primarily used ChatGPT to refine prompts, structure ideas, and improve the overall development workflow, while DeepSeek generated and implemented much of the website's code. My Language Assistant website was developed primarily with Claude, which generated most of the code based on my prompts and project requirements. Throughout the development process, ChatGPT remained an invaluable companion by helping me create more effective prompts, improve planning, and overcome technical challenges. These experiences have reinforced my belief that artificial intelligence is a powerful collaborator that enables individuals to transform ideas into meaningful, real-world solutions.
In 2024, I had the honor of receiving the Silver Award in the Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition. This achievement strengthened my confidence in communication, creativity, and critical thinking while encouraging me to continue pursuing excellence in both technology and personal development.
Community & service
Beyond technology, I have always believed in contributing to society through voluntary service and youth engagement.
During the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, I became a Founding Member of Protibha Songho, a volunteer-based charitable organization. Together with a community of more than 2,000 volunteers and supporters, we organized and participated in numerous initiatives to assist vulnerable families and individuals during one of the most challenging periods in recent history.
I later joined the Ovilashi Foundation as an official member, where I continued contributing to youth development and community service initiatives through various social and educational activities.
In September 2022, together with 13 other dedicated individuals, I became one of the 14 founding members of Dreams on the Way & Dreams For Humanity, a youth-led organization established to promote education, leadership, social responsibility, women's empowerment, and charitable initiatives. Through workshops, community outreach programs, and volunteer activities, we have worked to encourage young people to develop their skills, contribute to society, and create positive change within their communities.
Looking ahead
Today, I consider my technological projects to be a continuation of my commitment to public service. Both Scholarships Hub and the Language Assistant website are offered entirely free of charge because I believe that access to education and knowledge should never be limited by financial circumstances. Whether helping a student discover a scholarship opportunity or enabling someone to learn a new language, I hope these platforms make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
Looking ahead, I aspire to continue building free educational technologies and community-focused initiatives that create lasting social impact. I have many ideas that I hope to transform into reality, and, In Sha Allah, I intend to dedicate the coming years to developing innovative solutions that empower individuals, strengthen communities, and expand access to education worldwide.
I firmly believe that true success is measured not only by personal achievement but also by the positive impact one leaves on the lives of others. Through technology, education, and service, I hope to contribute to a future where knowledge is more accessible, opportunities are more inclusive, and innovation serves humanity.
