This site is a free learning reference. It does not run analytics or tracking scripts and does not require an account to use the vocabulary, sentences, or practice tools.
Your favorites, "learned" progress, chosen background theme, and whether you've seen this welcome message are saved using your browser's local storage, on your own device only. This data is never transmitted anywhere and I (the site creator) never see it. Clearing your browser data or using a different device/browser will reset it.
If you use the Group Chat tab, the display name you pick and any message you send are stored in a shared database (Supabase) so other visitors can see them — this is not private. Words and phrases added through the site owner's Admin panel are stored the same way and are visible to everyone using the site.
This page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log standard request data (like your IP address) as part of serving the font files. Pronunciation audio uses your browser and/or device's built-in text-to-speech — no audio is sent to or generated by any server. Group chat and the shared word list use Supabase to store and retrieve data.
